Review: Topshop kohl pencil & Topshop waterproof eyeliner pencil

Assalamualaikum WBT and salam maal hijrah readers,

I am a subsriber of Pixiwoo (Sam & Nic Chapman) in youtube. I always refer to their video everytime i got makeup job to perform. I notice that the siblings like to wear Topshop eyeliner.

So last sunday, i went to One Utama with my hubby and think of buying the eyeliner. I was lucky that Topshop is having YES (Year End Sales). If you buy 2 items (selected only), u'll get 20% discount.

So after spending around 30 minutes there to have a look at their makeup rack, i decided to buy these two eyeliner pencil of theirs. One is Topshop Kohl eyeliner in Bolt (black) and another one is Topshop waterproof eyeliner in Ebony (black).

All i have to say (my review) are:

1. I really like both eyeliner, but i like the waterproof eyeliner more because it is softer yet the black is blacker than the kohl one.

2. After testing on myself yesterday (my right eyes i put kohl pencil while my left eyes i put waterproof liner pencil), i found that both of the eyeliner don't smudge at all although i don't set it with powder eyeshadow. But, i noticed that waterproof eyeliner really don't smudge rather than the kohl pencil.

3. For smokey eyes, i should say that wearing kohl pencil as base is really make my eyes pop and stand out.

Advantage (s):

Topshop Kohl pencil: Easy glide on and don't really smudge
Topshop Waterproof eyeliner pencil: Easy glide on, soft and don't smudge at all

Weakness (s):
Topshop Kohl pencil: A bit hard and have to warm up first before use, the tip was easy to break if u use it brutally.
Topshop Waterproof eyeliner pencil: The tip was easy to break if u use it brutally

Price: RM23 for Kohl pencil while RM29 for waterproof eyeliner

Rate: 3/5 for Kohl pencil and 3.5/5 for waterproof eyeliner

Recommendation: I would recommend waterproof eyeliner rather than kohl eyeliner :)

Repurchase: Definately will repurchase the waterproof eyeliner and maybe for kohl eyeliner. I think the waterproof eyeliner is the cheaper version (dupe) of Smoulder by MAC :)

Hari ni Atah nak share pasal satu produk yg dah lama ada kat pasaran, tp Atah baru try sbb dpt harga murah. Knp dpt harga murah? Keep on reading k girls :)

Mcm biasa, every tuesday, thursday & saturday, Atah akan berada di area Cheras Leisure Mall. So last tuesday, i was there just to have my lunch. Jalan2 ke area mall yg sebelah sana (take not this mall ada 2 seperated building linked by 2 bridges). Asalnya nak gi Guardian, skli tgk kat centre tu ada buat mcm jualan penghabisan stok aka Bargain Corner.

Tgk2 ada lah Foundation yg Atah dah lama sgt nak gune tp sbb kekangan kewangan & rasa xperlu sbb dah ada MAC & Kryolan, so Atah tangguhkan niat Atah.

Foundation yg Atah maksudkan ialah Revlon Photoready Mousse foundation. Atah pakai Golden Beige. Klu kulit korang gelap sket, boleh pakai medium beige. Golden beige & medium beige ni sesuaila utk kulit org melayu. Klu cerah sket go for Nude ekk.

My Review:

1. Atah sapu foundie ni guna Real Technique Expert Face brush sbb senang nak buffing.

2. Hasilnya mmg flawless, sket jer gune dah tutup semua. Tp bintik2 hitam yg obvious taleh di cover klu sapu nipis, at least kene sapu a layer over.

Kelebihan:

1. Airbrush effect yg sgt flawless
2. Sesuai utk photoshoot

Kelemahan:

Pump nya agak sukar nak control. Takut klu tertekan lebih, terlebih sembur.

Harga: RM69 (tp sbb Atah beli kat bargain corner dpt la RM35 saja)

Rate: 3.5 / 5

Recommendation: I recommend this foundie as the result of airbrush effect

Repurchase: Yes, definately.
