Review: Topshop kohl pencil & Topshop waterproof eyeliner pencil

Assalamualaikum WBT and salam maal hijrah readers,

I am a subsriber of Pixiwoo (Sam & Nic Chapman) in youtube. I always refer to their video everytime i got makeup job to perform. I notice that the siblings like to wear Topshop eyeliner.

So last sunday, i went to One Utama with my hubby and think of buying the eyeliner. I was lucky that Topshop is having YES (Year End Sales). If you buy 2 items (selected only), u'll get 20% discount.

So after spending around 30 minutes there to have a look at their makeup rack, i decided to buy these two eyeliner pencil of theirs. One is Topshop Kohl eyeliner in Bolt (black) and another one is Topshop waterproof eyeliner in Ebony (black).

All i have to say (my review) are:

1. I really like both eyeliner, but i like the waterproof eyeliner more because it is softer yet the black is blacker than the kohl one.

2. After testing on myself yesterday (my right eyes i put kohl pencil while my left eyes i put waterproof liner pencil), i found that both of the eyeliner don't smudge at all although i don't set it with powder eyeshadow. But, i noticed that waterproof eyeliner really don't smudge rather than the kohl pencil.

3. For smokey eyes, i should say that wearing kohl pencil as base is really make my eyes pop and stand out.

Advantage (s):

Topshop Kohl pencil: Easy glide on and don't really smudge
Topshop Waterproof eyeliner pencil: Easy glide on, soft and don't smudge at all

Weakness (s):
Topshop Kohl pencil: A bit hard and have to warm up first before use, the tip was easy to break if u use it brutally.
Topshop Waterproof eyeliner pencil: The tip was easy to break if u use it brutally

Price: RM23 for Kohl pencil while RM29 for waterproof eyeliner

Rate: 3/5 for Kohl pencil and 3.5/5 for waterproof eyeliner

Recommendation: I would recommend waterproof eyeliner rather than kohl eyeliner :)

Repurchase: Definately will repurchase the waterproof eyeliner and maybe for kohl eyeliner. I think the waterproof eyeliner is the cheaper version (dupe) of Smoulder by MAC :)
